Here are the CAD files for the PVC camera mount for 1/2 in PVC pipe featured in Super Make Something episode 17!
While I originally built the camera mount to take timelapses of my robotic drawing machine, this mount can be used with any camera or device that can receive a 1/4-20 threaded bolt.
I am currently using this mount with my Logitech C920 webcam for Octoprint and Octolapse timelapses. To mount the camera to the carriage, you will also need:
1x 1/4-20 threaded bolt
1x 5/16-18 thumb screw
1x 5/16-18 hex nut
The PVC coupler base can be used in conjunction with and No. 6 particle board screws to mount it to the edge of any surface.
STEP files are also included so that you can remix the mount as you need!
More information about the build process can be found here: https://youtu.be/Bahoguu9C-M
The robotic drawing machine build video can be found here: https://youtu.be/OuCiHp43q20
