This candy cane pen works with the ink piece from a Bic Round Stic pen.
To get a good print, use a raft. The bottom tends to come out a little rough, but a little sanding takes care of that. I set it up to be printed in this orientation to minimize print time on a 2-color print.
I recommend separating the main pen and the insert into parts using the slicer, and printing the insert at high infill to avoid breaking when you pull it out. (You will need to use pliers)
The insert is intended to be reversed and used to clean the hole after removal.
Now, for my pen, I made a snowball base to put it in, but the author of that model doesn't permit remix etc. It's easy enough though if you use TinkerCad. Just poke a hole in the top of a snowball for the pen, and slice off some of the bottom to give a stable base.
The snowball I used is https://www.printables.com/model/466443-snowball/files
Note that this IS a remix, but Thingiverse won't accept the link... https://www.printables.com/mod
