Made for the candy distributer competition. This model is based off of the t-shirt cannons at sporting events from my childhood. I always thought it would be cool if the cannons shot candy instead. While this design is a bit smaller and uses a spring instead of compressed air, I think kid me would be pleased with the way it turned out! Make sure supports are enabled when you print. The cannon is powered by a spring, you could experiment with a 3d printed one but I found a 18.26 x 88.90 x 1.05 mm Hillman spring I picked up from Lowes worked great. Assemble by placing the trigger in the right body, then the spring and bolt in the left body's barrel. Next place the bolt handle in the right bodies slide and place the two halves together. Fix with the two shrouds placed on either side, and ensure everything is sliding properly. To operate, simply pull back on the bolt until it's in its locked position, place candy down the barrel, and squeeze the trigger to fire!
