Canon LP-E17 USB-C (PD) Dummy Battery

Want to use your DSLR with a USB battery pack or a USB wall charger ?Easy to make, low cost “Dummy battery” for CANON DSLR cameras (Check compatibility with LP-E17 battery) You need to use a USB-PD bank or wall adapter that support 9V. Needed:-3D Printed model-Copper tape (I got mine from the dollar store, was selling as anti-slug)-PDC004-PD Module (WARNING you need the 9V version, any other voltage will damage your camera)-Zener diode with 0.6V voltage drop (I used 1N4744).-4 Tiny screws +/- 2mm x 6mm-Small USB-C to USB-C wire (I used an Apple charging cable) Step 1:Place 2 strips around the small part like so: Step 2:Apply a little solder blob on the 2 strips (go fast to not melt the plastic): Step 3:Install the diode on the positive (+) (line facing out), and a small wire on the Negative (-): Step 4:Solder the negative
