hAVE YOU EVER ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE cAPSLOCK kEY WITHOUT REALIZING IT? oF COURSE. eVERY ONE HAS AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER. pERSONALY. i FEEL LIKE i DO IT ENTIRELY TOO MUCH. sO i HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
What I have come up with is something I call the Caps Locker. Basically it is a mechanical block designed to slip under the caps lock key on mechanical keyboards, and physically block from being pressed, as long as it is in place.
This thing was specifically designed for my own use with the corsair vengence k70 keyboard. But it should be compatible/usable with most mechanical keyboards, considering the switch sizes is a constant, and key size/shape is typically a constant as well.
This thing may/may not cause the surrounding keys to bind and stick. But in my own experience, it fits perfectly into place with just the slightest bit of sanding and jiggling. In fact, once you manage to seat this thing in place, it's kinda hard to get it to bother surrounding keys.
