Captiva 2014 Chevy Bowtie

The Chevy Bowtie Logo thingy came off of my 2014 Captiva. I first replaced it with some metallic vinyl but it faded to white. So I tried to find it online (amazon) but those things are like $50. Nope. So I decided to engineer one. Welp, it was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Instead of just being flat, the place where it goes has both a bend, and a curvature which follows the tailgate. So gluing a flat bowtie was not going to work. So I did that and even tho it's not perfect, it's pretty close, close enough to glue it on. Here's hoping the slapwash doesn't knock this one off - it probably will - but now I can replace it again if I have to. I made an edge around the outside so I will probably paint silver in that edge - not sure if I'll bother. Anyway, nothing is ever perfect but I figure this looks better than an ugly empty spot missing the logo! I made it two piece because the bend and curve means it's won't sit flat on the print bed.
