This is a mount that I made to attach my phone to the dash of my car. Main FeaturesThe base attaches strongly to the dash with command strips. The command strips leave no adhesive residue. Most parts use a standard 1-inch-ball that is compatible with RAM-style mounts.The ball and socket system lets you position your phone where you need it.Note: The dash of my car gets hot! The socket arm that holds these parts together is basically a clamp that keeps tension on the 1-inch balls that it connects to. The combination of heat and constant tension can be bad for some thermoplastics. PLA will certainly fail. I have had mixed success with PETG. It worked for a while, but eventually the tension and heat were enough to reshape the 1-inch balls that the socket arm connects to. Eventually, they wouldn't hold. Because of this, I recommend ASA.
