Car Frame Impact Study

This is a Side impact study of the car frame that i made a while back. I did the analysis on both ANSYS and Solidworks however the ANSYS one is changed to an aluminum alloy for the material. I made the impact area on the fame about the size of what a cars initial area of impact would be. The force i used was about 100000N, the study concluded that the frame would not support this impact. Ways to prevent this would be to add additional crossing members to support load without restricting functionality of the vehicle, make the members that run along the bottom side of the frame solid instead of hollow or to make those members of a higher strength steel.
