v2 of my phone dock.
I designed this phone dock to be clipped onto the bottom of a cars centre console, making it possible to quickly connect my phone to my car with one hand. For use with Apple Car Play or Android Auto where no interaction is required.
The intention was to create a mounting point without having to drill into the centre console or dashboard of the car, however stick on velco will be required on the back in order to create a firm grip to the cars carpet.
The hole for the cable is centrally located at the base.
Grub screw is required to hold Cable in place.
Internal dimensions for phone = 74mm (wide) x 11mm (thick)
Cable opening = 13mm x 7mm
If you don't have CAD software you can easily change the scale of each individual axis in your slicer to suit your phone.
