Second carabiner design using a different spring geometry, which solved alignment problem. Latch can be tricky to attach. The way I insert the latch is, by threading the spring(B) through the door(C) and then pushing the two pivot pins into the corner(A) which then spread apart wide enough to snap into the holes. I then tilt the latch and get it to be inside the hook. I have only tested this carabiner with t-glase, and do not know how other filaments will flex, or if they might have issues.
