I needed a carabiner that is secured with a nut. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything acceptable, so I had to make the design from scratch.
The model can be printed at a reduction of up to 50%. A reduction of more than 50% is not possible due to the required clearances in the joint and nut. To make printing a smaller model easier, the files carabiner clip 1 and carabiner nut 1 have been added - this is a carabiner with increased clearances in the moving parts.
At 100% scale, the height of the carbine is 112 mm, at 50% - 56 mm
And although the carbine withstood a load of 100 kg during testing, it certainly cannot be used for rock climbing and/or rigging work.
Printed from PETg with a 0.4 nozzle and a 0.2 layer. No support required.
The carabiner bracket was printed with 8 perimeters and 60% infill. The nut printing parameters are unimportant.
