I was concerned about the potentially hazardous fumes that melting plastic could cause. I started doing some research and I didn't find a whole lot (Kind of concerning in itself). Basically everything says that I should only run my printer in a well ventilated room. This gets me wondering about what I am getting exposed to when I open my enclosure and inhale right after a print is done.

I did find [this website](http://www.3dprintfilemarket.com/140629194058.html?fbclid=IwAR1tcoQFQSGGDbF-90IMsGSIPus3FPXqmJ49Ls70oJexSTnNXmmENcfzFt0) that speaks to the benefit of using carbon to filter the exhaust coming off your printer. I wanted one specifically for my IKEA Lack enclosure, so I made my own. I have no idea if this helps anything with the fumes, but it can't hurt.

You will also need:
- 80mm fan (I used a 12v computer fan with a buck converter),
- Window screen material (placed in the carbon to prevent the small pieces from falling through)
- Activated carbon - [Amazon](https://
