Second in a a series from a previous ting - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6790268. This is a carbon microphone, a technological development that made huge improvements in voice clarity - from telephones to radio. It is worth looking up. Some, like this one common in the 1920s, were enclosed while others were open. They were all similar with that ubiquitous transducer suspended in a frame by springs.
For this make you will need to pick up 8x extension strings approximately 8mm x 30mm, a 30cm length of old two strand lamp wire (the one I used had a lovely fabric wrap), two 140mm circles of Tulle fabric or Insect Screen, and a small length of 2mm round plastic rob (just in case). I included instructions.
I hope you enjoy this make. Please let me know if you have any questions. Don't forget to smash that like button, as I am a servant of the algorithm Gods. As always, thank you so much for your support.
