A holder to protect your tie-down straps from spontaneous knotting caused by the scourge of entropy. Designed for 1" (25 mm) straps - could probably work with 1.5" in a pinch, or just scale it up for larger sizes. 2 mm thick for strength and 18.75 mm bolsters to hold the hooks with a 1.2 mm slot at the bottom to keep the straps in place once wrangled. Rounded edges all around to prevent any sharp corners from damaging your straps or your delicate digits.

I had a similar design that was included with an old set of straps and a new set I purchased didn't come with any storage solution so I created this design myself using Fusion 360. I may consider creating a case of sorts that these can slot into for organization of multiple straps and their corresponding ratchets.
