The carpal tunnel splint is a simple 3d printable wrist flexion resisting brace which is minimal and contoured to the shape of the forearm, wrist, and palm.
If you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome this splint will prevent you from flexing your wrist forward whilst being minimalist at the same time. Unlike the bulky chemist bought ones.
The design is being 'clinically' trailed on my mum who suffers from carpal pain.
Update 2.2
Version 2.2 has been uploaded and is now available for download. There are 2 models, one for the right hand and one for the left: both mirror images of each other, specified by an R and an L. The method of designing this model was slightly primitive and unconventional but it allowed me to achieve a naturally contoured shape that fits the wrist beautifully.
The next update will include possible mesh or webbing iterations of the current models as well as rounded edges plus a slot/clip for Velcro attachment.
