Carus ONE

HI everyone !!!. Carus One is designed keeping in mind the following points : 1. Minimalist and should follow the design language of Carus. 2. Manufacturability. 3. Compactness. 4. Must look neat and simple in docked and undocked condition. 5. Ergonomic. 6. Must satisfy the requirements of the customer base. Before moving on to the details, some advantages of this model are: 1. Docking of iPhones is possible with/without cases. 2. Hassle-free docking of open/close strap Apple Watches. The dock consists of a lightning connector to charge the latest line of iPhones ( iPhone 5 onwards ) and the Apple watch charger to charge the Apple watches (38mm/42mm). The Dock consists of two parts: 1.The base 2.The stick BASE - The Milled Aluminium base is of 10 x 10 cm dimension and occupies considerably less space on the desk.The surface is grinded and given a brushed texture.The edges are rounded following the design language of Carus. The upper face consists of a lightning connector,a LED charge indicator and a power button.It also consists of an opening for the Apple watch charger to pass through and the stick to be positioned firmly.The rear face consists of a USB port (for charging other devices) and micro USB port. The dock itself is charged through the micro USB port hence the base will also house a battery.The lightning connector can be raised above by few mm by the activation of a button underneath for accommodation of iPhones with cases. The base may be fitted with circular rubber pads for added grip. STICK: The stick is a sleek 5mm extruded aluminium piece.Since the Apple Watch charger itself is 7.62 mm thick it is placed symmetrically to the stick, thus the top and bottom faces of the charger are visible outside the Dock.The upper face of the charger has a plastic coating for prevention of scratches on the Apple Watch.
