Makes
a case for a simple breath analyzer kit i found online
(the circuit is NOT my own design)
it uses a gas sensor called MQ-3. (which is essentially just a variable resistor that reacts to ethanol content inside its chamber)
U1 is a 555timer
R1, R2 =1kohm
R3= 130ohm
R4 = 5ohm
RW = 10kohm potentiometer
B1= buzzer
the relay JK is normally closed.
here is a video clip i was testing the kit with a piece of tissue paper dipped in alcohol
