This is a fun little project. I bought Madlab's kit mostly to practice soldering, not to annoy the neighbours;-)
Printed parts:
- 1 x box.stl
- 1 x lid.stl
- 1 x button_m.stl
- 1 x button_p.stl
- 2 x band.stl
Non-printed parts:
- Madlab Junior Theremin, assembled and working
- Rocker switch for 13x18.5 mm hole
- Clamps for the switch (or just solder the wires)
- 9 V battery
The switch is a Nelco K420. I haven't been able to find an international product code, but it's made in Britain, if that helps.
UPDATE: Apparently the lid doesn't like to stay put after you open and close it a few times. Instead of redesigning (and reprinting) the case with a better/bulkier lid mechanism, I added a mod that actually doesn't look terrible. Print two band.stl and put them on from the sides (see image #2).
