For this you will need :
- 18 neodymium magnets° and super glue (4mm in diameter , 1.5mm in thickness )
- 4mm foam ,very soft foam is best
( you can use thinner or thicker foam if you want (3,4,5,6mm) , just adjust the scale pourcentage as shown in the picture above)
- a sharp scalpel and painter tape to cut the foam
- a piece of filament for the hinge (you may need the sand the piece of filament to fit the hole)
- glue or thin double sided tape (recommended)
- you can use coins to make the rounded corner and the holes in the top foam
Print info :
- no support
- horizontal expansion : -0.1mm
- 0.2mm layer height (dont go higher or else the hinge wont work properly)
- PLA , PETG pretty much any hard plastic would work , i recommend using an impact resistant filament
magnet : search 4x1.5 magnet on AlieExpress
foam : you can use Neoprene Fabric , eva foam is a bit too hard
