caster lever

A simple, compact suspension for SCUTTLE Robot chassis. I am calling it a caster lever because it will give constrained movement to the front casters. Fitment: replace the front extrusion with this assembly. Parts: Screws, M8 Bushings, copper/brass, 12mm OD Extrusion, 3030 Screws, M6 with drop-in nuts 3D Printed brackets (2 models) This design is in a draft stage as of 2023.12. I hope to find users interested in contributing. Items to resolve: mating springs to the bolt shaft and retaining springs testing best spring rates find affordable brass bushing and adjust dimensions perform tests for load & characterize maximums design adjusted mounts for front casters to fit this assembly
