This is a cat grass/wheatgrass planter I designed with inspiration from a popular one on Amazon. It has a protective cover to prevent digging and a locking base to keep it stable. Drainage holes in the bowl prevent overwatering.
I suggest coating at least the inside of the bowl with polyurethane or a food safe resin to keep it water tight and prevent bacteria growth.
To plant grass, add about an inch of vermiculite or soil, top with seeds and snap the cover on. Keep a small space between the seeds and the cover, because the soil will expand a lot. I recommend not removing the cover once grass starts to grow. To drain excess water just tip the whole thing; no need to remove it from the base.
Comes in regular size (14cm bowl) and small (12cm bowl).
