Cat is In/Out, customizable.

In our house it's sometimes unclear if our cat is inside or has been let out. I dont't know if my wife has let her go out, or my wife don't know if I've let the cat in, or vice versa... You know what I mean...
If she's in she could very well be hiding somewhere, but if we know she's out it's no use sereaching for her. Also it happens that we forget to let her in, and thinks she's actually inside.
Anyway, we needed som help to know, and not forget where she is.
This is a simple flip sign where either of us can flip it to indicate where the cat is. It's mounted at a central place in our home, and it's made to be easy readable even from a distance. The cats and the letters is in relief, and on the pictures above I've filled in the outlines (rather badly...) with a pen.
The flap comes in two versions. One with I/U, representing "Inne" and "Ute", which is "In" and "Out" in Swedish.
There is also a version with I and O, for our English speaking friends, but it's easy to change the letters in
