I refined druid1200's cat claw covers by refining triangle mesh and smoothing in netfabb. Also lengthened the inner compartment. Should be nicer for kitty and parent. Have not printed yet.
Trim the cat's nails (safely--never get too close to the pink part!). Apply super glue to the inside of the cap, then apply the cap to the cat's nail as follows. Press the cat's toe pad enough to extend the claw. With the claw extended apply the cap to the claw and let the glue dry (only takes a second or 2) while keeping the claw extended. Try to avoid getting glue on the skin before the nail called the ungual crest so it does not interfere with the claws extending. Once they shed the nail (4 weeks) the cap will come off.
