Cat Pilling Aid

Autumn and I mastered many things together as she grew older, but pills was not one. Many oral medicines were ok, even sub-cutaneous fluids, but pills were always difficult. We tried many aids and what I found didn't work for us. After she passed, I decided I shoudl try 3D printing what I think would have helped.

It is designed to work as an adaptor on a 1ml oral medication syringe. Autumn and I had plenty of these from the vet for other oral medications.

I printed in PETG for food safety. After printing, make sure to file or sand to remove the rough parts around the supports where would come in contact with kittie's mouth. Trim any stray fiber to avoid potential ingestion as well.

The syringe should fit snugly. The pin slides into the syringe so the pin will poke out the end when depressed.

I use the second and third fingers on the handles, and thumb on the plunger. As you push the plunger, the pin helps dislodge the pill, and the forward pressure releases t
