Cat Punchdown Puck

This is a handheld punchdown puck for terminating ethernet wall jacks. I wanted one that had grips on the side for my fingers so it wouldn't slip while using so I designed this from scratch. I also made it so it supports top loading and front loading punchdowns. I took my original and then added holes for my name and favorite football team. (I know, they break my heart every year). Then I printed the logo and letters and popped them in. My first print (pictured) came out a little sloppy. I used ABS and it came off the plate around 75% of the print, luckily it did finish!

I have made others with various teams and names for friends at work. Simply make a 2-3MM hole of the logo/letter and then print the logo/letter at 99%scale to pop it in, might want to glue some that are not tight fitting. I personally prefer this method rather than having it 1 print and painting.
