Once you find a cat tree that works in a room, it is hard to replace it even after age and use make it wobbly. These support brackets stabilize the joints between poles and platforms, extending the usable life of the tree. The brackets are designed to fit tightly around the pole and attach to the platform using small pan head screws. I like them to be tight enough that I need to use a mallet to get them into place. If additional stiffness is needed, screws can be driven through the side of the bracket into the pole. Most cat tree poles are cardboard, so screws with a coarse thread work best. Adding wood glue or school glue can help reinforce the cardboard and improve long term durability. The brackets do not include predrilled holes for this so you can drill them exactly where you want. Two sizes are included that fit the poles used in my tree, along with a size tester to help adapt the design to other pole diameters. Use the measurement tool to get the inner diameter of the ID tester,
