An elegant egg design that looks different from every angle! Inspired by the cathedrals of Europe, it's perfect for your Easter or dragon egg collection.
This egg comes in 3 versions: 1 piece open design, 1 piece closed, and 2 piece closed.
My print files are optimized for print speed, quality and time, but not strength. If you want these to be rugged, use 2 perimeters and 15% infill everywhere. The roof of the egg benefits from supports, as does the base. The 3MF files are from PrusaSlicer. Not all features may be recognized by other slicers. The GCODE is for a Prusa MK3S+. I would not use it with other printers.
The two piece egg clicks together. To separate the pieces, grab them by the textured parts (they're stronger), and wiggle and pull at the same time. It's harder to separate them than put them together, so if they seem tight as you first put them together, stop, then sand the rim of the bottom piece.
The difference between the halves of the egg being too loose and too tigh
