Update: using PLA prints inside the car is a bad idea...it deforms because of the weight of the phone holder. Maybe ABS works, but I can't print in ABS.....

Wanted the original a bit sturdier. So put somehing together with 3d builder. Not a perfect stl but it does the job.
Needs support!
the 16mm ball joint seems to fit most chinese phone holders.
Made an angle in it because my dvd tray points downwards a bit.
