A design based off of the beautiful Cecropia Moth - North America's largest native moth! The intent is to simulate stained glass with translucent PETG “panes”. As such, they make great window hangers when used with suction cup hooks (like these) and some kind of string (I used this PVC craft lace)! But you can also go with opaque filament and just hang it on a wall too! *This particular design took me a lot of time to make, as it is extremely detailed, and I painstakingly shaped the “panes” individually before going on to the 3D phase of the project! Your support always means a lot to me! Suncatcher Printed on P1S with 0.4mm nozzle and AMS on Engineering Plate. I used the following filaments:GreenGate Translucent Purple Recycled PETG (if using Bambu, you could try their translucent purple or a different color!)Bambu PETG Basic Black (no longer sold… I'd try Bambu's PETG HF instead!)Bambu PETG Translucent ClearBambu PETG Translucent Gray Tips:Make
