This is a wall switch mount for a remote control to our ceiling fan/light. It includes a hole to be able to access the rocker switch whenever the remote is removed from the mount. It is mounted into the holes of a standard outlet cover with a 3/4" long m6-32 screw.
The front and back of the remote are curved which I reproduced in the holder by measuring the width, back edge depth (back_edge_center_dist_y), and arc length (see photo for what illustration of these dimensions).
The radius of the subtracting object is calculated as:
radius = 90 ** arc_length/ (atan(2*edge_center_dist_y/remote_width) * PI)
