Celestron mirror cell protective box

If you are using Fastar or Hyperstar with your Celestron Edge HD800 or you have to remove the mirror cell for any reason, this box will protect the mirror cell. The size is for the Edge HD800 but i think all C8 will fit.


The thread on the box is a close fit, so if your printer over extrudes it will not fit.

After printing at first try not to grip hard the lid while turning, because it will increase the friction and the thread will stuck. After a few turns the two threaded parts will grind smooth.
I have printed with PLA. PETG is also good.
