Cell Amplifier / Concentrator Samsung

Designed this phone cradle with funnels for speaker and mic. It actually plays very loud. I haven't tested to see of the mic funnel helps but I assume it will. My hopes were to be able to have the phone on speaker and be able to speak in a normal voice and still be able interact with the phone for browsing, working etc.

This is the second thing I've really made with my printer. I learned a lot on how to design future things. I definitely learned that the use of arch bridges are the way to go. Keeping build angles to 45 deg is logical but I wonder what's the lowest practical limit I can do (maybe 30 degs ). I put support pillars as bridging support but the middle one broke off during the build because they are delicate just sticking up before the bridging reinforces it and ironically it broke during the bridging. I glued it back in place but the surface quality was shot.

I might redesign this later on to be more universal for different phones and make it also more 3D printer frie
