Cell Phone Holder Adapter

This is a wedge which fits snugly into a small (generally useless) cubby in the dash of the late model VW T4 Eurovan. It contains a slot which accepts the shaft of a commonly used inexpensive cellphone mount found on Amazon and Ebay. Here's an example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234059057423?

Most cellphones will fit in this swiveling mount without significantly obstructing other switches and vents in the dash. Print in TPU with 30% infill and you should have a good mix of rigidity and flexibility to stay in the cubby and hold the mount securely.

UPDATE: The original wedge fits into the small cubby without removing the rubber "floor" that normally sits in the cubby. I've added a 2nd version (V2) that fits into the cubby with the rubber floor removed. This allows the wedge to clip into the slots which are exposed in the cubby after lifting-out the rubber floor.
