Cell phone microscope

It is a holder for a sample, a lens and a cell phone, which together act as a microscope. There are many set ups like this documented on the Internet, but I wanted to make a sturdy supporting structure. The lens has 7mm diameter and is taken from a cheap laser pointer. Sample is put between a reversal film slide holder, which keeps at least hair pieces well together. There is room for material that diffuses the light evenly behind the sample. I cut some from a diffuser of an old broken LCD monitor. The 3D model has 45 degress slope to attach a piece of mirror to, so it is possible to attach a light source horizontally to save a lot of space. Light source can be for example a LED flashlight. I used a 4 watts Ikea desktop light, which seems to be a minimum. Phone holder is for old iPhone 3G but the solidworks model can be adjusted for other cell phones and camera positions.
