Centre Dowel Jig

This is designed for 6mm dowels.

You will need 6 x 15mm countersunk M4 screws and two pieces of 8mm rod with 6mm inner diameter. The screws may need a little force to screw in depending upon the tolerances of your printer. A vice would also be handy to press the rods into the main bar. Use the vice to press the rods in one at a time. Trying to press both in at the same time is a good cause of swearing.

Print the main bar with the "V" shape facing upwards. This way means that you will not need supports to print.
