Centre Marker - Pentel

This sexy little tool makes it quick and easy to mark the centre line on any cylindrical object. I designed it for Windsor chair work, specifically for laying out the mortise holes in the undercarriage, but it’ll find plenty of other uses in the shop. Glue a ½-inch wooden dowel into the larger hole, slip a Pentel mechanical pencil into the smaller one, and let the V-shape do the rest. It finds centre immediately and the pencil marks it in one smooth pass. Simple. Effective. Exactly what you need.
