Glue an elastic band to the knot and it's ready to use. Print the whole tie or the upper and lower parts separate and join together with open link thing:3165843.
Some partial links along the edge will fall of after print and some partial links have to be removed along the split line if the two piece tie is printed.
Make sure the small notches in the links are oriented up when printing. It helps with bridging.
Print with multiple outlines to make the links solid and set a low infill for the knot.

Added a new version with hinged links going up from the knot. Two of each of the pieces neck1, 2, 3 and one upper_2 are and one lower is needed. Use a piece of 1,75mm filament as hinge pins. Tie a piece of elastic band to the last links and you are done. I also discovered that it´s easier to glue the upper and lower parts together than using the open links and with a tiny bit of superglue (CY) the joint is invisible.
