I was tired of having the thing lying around so I designed a docking station around the original charger.
The inner core houses the plug and the cable in a snug fit bending the cable to one side. The outer shape of the two halves form an M30 thread.
A stainless steel M30 nut keeps both halves together, provides additional weight and just looks very stylish. :)
I decided to use threaded inserts to create useful M3 threads. See the link to a CNC Kitchen blog post for more info:

I printed it with Prusament PETG Galaxy Black on a Prusa MK3S width 0.1mm layer height and supports only on the build plate. I printed the two halves of the M30 thread lying down.
