this is a file for just the gear indicator dial for the specific shifter in the picture. I think I paid around $12(US) for it originally.
I had recently purchased this cheap index shifter after converting my son's ebike and somehow the index dial broke making it difficult for him to see what gear he was riding in.
After explaining to him that he could simply look down to verify, I figured it should be easy enough to print a new index for it since the placement pin is kind-of flimsy. The design has an extra little square piece which ensures the pin is printed cleanly since my nozzle was having trouble with the minimum layer time and blobbing. Just throw out that extra square when you're done.
You will need a slightly longer bolt and a washer to assemble the new dial (the original nut is reused). Don't crank it tight because the shifting will be affected, I also added a drop of blue loctite to keep it from getting looser.
I wiped a little white paint on it to make the numbe
