Chess Board

To make this board, I first did an extruded base of the overall area. Then, I extruded every other square. Next, I recolored the squares. To make the river, I added a random spline shape through the board, and extruded it. Then, I cut the spline shape and drew lines to match the squares of the board. Next, I recolored the river to blue on dark blue. Finally, I created the outline of the board using a two-direction extrude.
