I really don't like mini's for my D&D games. I don't want to collect them. Don't want to paint them. Don't want to deal with them at all. The players can have paper pawns or a cool mini but I don't need dozens of goblins clogging up my shelf space!

So I wanted something very generic, abstract, portable, and flexible that I could easily stick in my GM's kit to represent monsters and NPC's. Looking around I could not find anything that fit my vision so I made these. The standard chess icons do a good job of representing different creatures at a glance, and I plan to use them like this:

-Pawns for Minions and generic creatures.
-Rooks for Bruiser types
-Knights for Lieutenants
-Bishops for magic users
-King and Queen for big bosses.

The STL's are one inch circles, so will fit nicely with standard 28mm mini's and on RPG flip mats. A set of 16 is more than enough to put in my kit, but are compact enough that I could pop in a second set if needed.
