Chess Men

Basic design - I'm going to make my own travel chess set. They'll take some tweaking to make 3d printing easier. The orange pla I'm using was cheap and oozy.

rev:
I've printed them on my K8200 and I'm always surprised how some print well and some don't. Often contrary to what I think. Anyway I'm busy working on rev A now to improve design and print-ability.

rev A1:
I've added a plinth to make the men easier to pick up and just set them off the board nice. I've also gone to town with the Humbrel paints. I wish I'd bought two colours of pla as cleaning and painting the pieces has been very time consuming.

rev A11: Improvement in design the the queen and knight.

rev B1: (yellow pla prints)
the small one was scaled 200% with Slic3er and 300% My old Velleman K8200 was able to handle the fine detail on the small print. It's not bad the queen piece could be simplified.
I'm happy with the scaled 300% print.
