Chest Lock to prevent the lid of a box/chest to open by accident.
The lock mechanism is a simple flat bolt holding the lock together. Easy to open and close.
IMPORTANT 1: It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not print this in a low resolution and your printer is calibrated. The Key and the Lock Bottom are a tight fit. If the resolution is too low they will never fit together. I recommend at least 0,1mm resolution. You could sand the threads a bit afterwards and give it some wd-40 (in that order ;-) or the dust will stick) if it still is a bit tight.
IMPORTANT 2: Pay attention to the threads in the Lock Top and Lock Bottom. They can be joined in two ways. One of the way is wrong and the key will not fit through both parts. The correct fit is when the threads turns continuously through both parts.
Happy Chest Locking! :-)
Assemble:
1. The Lock Top and the Hinge is put together with one piece of filament (1,75mm) going through them both and being about 2-3mm too long.
