Chicken Feeder for Large Containers

This model is for a chicken feeder for a large container or jar that has a 110 mm diameter jar opening (known as a 110-400 thread). This container type is an industry standard. It can be found on most bulk item containers at Costco. I'm told that 1-gallon pickle jars are of this type. My photos show 2 different containers. The smaller is a half-gallon Costco M&M's container. The larger is a 1-gallon Costco protein powder container. I printed in PLA however most filament types will work well. Printing with 3 or more wall loops will ensure the jar threads don't break when tightening the jar. Do not over tighten the jars; loose fit is fine. The design is a 2-piece design which minimizes and simplifies supports as well as simplifies cleaning. A small amount of easy-to-remove supports are required for the top half of the model.
