Child Safety Latch Template

Child Safety Lock/Latch Template This fits multiple brands and styles of safety latches and locks. The locks/latches come with a cardboard template which is flimsy at best once “assembled” and once “assembled” if you need to store it later, it gets crushed and misshapen. This is made to replace the cardboard template and to be easily reusable/stored if you were need to move the locks/latches or for the inevitable misplacement of the original. I have personally used it on the Safety 1st Magnetic and Spring Loaded latches (as seen in the photos) but it also has worked for a few other brands that I do not recall the brand names off hand. You can add double sided tape to the back like the original cardboard template or simply hold it in place and mark through the holes as needed. You could also use a piece of blue painters tape or masking tape rolled and placed on the back to make it stick to the door but be easily removable if you prefer.
