Chisel / Plane Honing / Sharpening Jig

This is a sharpening / honing jig for chisels and plane Irons.
.It can be adapted for various bevel angles and chisel widths .

Tip1: To Speed up finishing edges prepare all used whetstones to be the same height. that way you have to adust the grinding angle only one time during whole process.

Tip2: To adjust the jig to the existing angle of a chisel quickly and precisely, paint the bevel with a Sharpie, adjust the reqired angle by eye. Then scrub the chisel lightly over the Stone.
the grinding marks will tell you immediately which way to readjust.
