Every year I had frustration with my Christmas lights that I put directly on the ground. I do this for a snow effect. The problem with this is when it rains the water leaches voltage into the ground, just enough to cause GFCI outlets to trip. My solution for this problem is to raise the plug portion up just an inch or more to eliminate contact with the ground. This also prevents the plug ends from being submerged into a puddle in heavy rain. I have no issues with the open plugs in the rain when elevated. I designed this to print without having to fill in random spots here and there. It should be a continuous solid infill for the clip portion because of the number of walls and the 2mm width. This reduces print time and keeps the part nice and robust. I highly recommend printing these in PETG. It is fast and easy and weatherproof.
