Christmas Ornament Hook Container

Typically, we were throwing our Christmas tree ornament hooks back into a plastic baggie. They'd then become a tangled mess before the following Christmas, resulting in a mass of hooks that would have to be shaken apart. This container was designed to provide a little more order to storing the hooks. I had a few concepts, but ended up with this keep-it-simple solution. Simply slide/hook the hooks over the center pillar, and they stack up on top of each other. Most Christmas hooks have a narrow end and a wide end. I like to hook the narrow end of the hook onto one end of the pillar, first, then just slip the wide end over the top. Then, just click the lid on. The top of the pillar is a little wider then the pillar, itself, with the function of keeping hooks from falling off in a drop or other accident, but it's not so wide that you can't pull the hooks over it, knowing that most Christmas hooks are pretty pliable.
Squeeze the lid from the ends to help release the locking tabs
