Summary Christmas star based on a stellated dodecahedron. Print, hangup and enjoy or use to furnish the top of the Christmas tree! Instructions Choose either the small or large. Small is approx 13cm diameter, large is 26cm. Print 12 pieces with 0% infill. Then glue them all together. I used Loctite contact adhesive, a little on each of the small faces surrounding the petagonal base. For the small blue one in the picture, I drilled a 5mm hole in each base and inserted a white LED (chopped up a cheap set of battery powered Christmas lights). The soldering is pretty fiddly in the small version though! You'll need to trim the LED leads short. Translucent "Glacial Blue" PLA from Faberdashery works a treat. The big one is a bit garish, lots of colours, blame my daughter for that. Looks good hanging in a window though.
