Hello, I needed a new idea for place holders on Christmas Day lunch.
I found that the 193814 thing could go for but didn't want to mess around with LEDs, wires, soldering and whatever.
At IKEA Shop I saw the SARDAL LED Lighting chain with 12 lights and had the idea.
I decided to remix the 193814 thing designing a new TREE STAND to accomodate the IKEA SARDAL light.
There's also an END ELEMENT for the Stand, which has only one connection path.
I also needed to modify the tree in order to have a 12mm hole on the bottom side.
Trees were printed with Translucent PLA from FormFutura (EasyFIL PLA and Premium PLA) in VASE mode.
Translucent PLA is not mandatory: using 1 outline/perimeter shell will do it also with standard PLA.
The 12mm hole gets covered by a single layer which must be removed using a cutter (see photo for detail).
I printed the stands using FormFutura EasyWood - Pine wood-filled PLA-based filament.
Both tree and stand look awesome.
